Ready to Relay?
Many of us have been touched by cancer in some way, whether it being with a loved one, friend, co-worker, or even yourself – the list goes on. Researchers say there will be over an overwhelming 1.6 million new cancer cases diagnosed and almost 900,000 cancer deaths in the U.S. this year alone.
In May 1985, Dr. Gordy Klatt walked and ran for 24 hours around a track in Tacoma, Washington, ultimately raising $27,000 to help the American Cancer Society fight the nation’s biggest health concern – cancer. A year later, 340 supporters joined the overnight event. Since those first steps, the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life movement has grown into a worldwide phenomenon, raising more than $4 billion to fight cancer.
Join our HPM Community Building Teams at this year’s American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and help us honor cancer survivors, remember people we’ve lost, and raise money to find a cure!
SATURDAY, JULY 11, 6PM – SUNDAY, JULY 12, 6AM // OLD KONA AIRPORT PARK

If you’re unable to participate in the relay, you can still help by making a donation to the American Cancer Society.
Together, we can help finish this fight and put an end to our nation’s second more common cause of death! We hope to see you there!
