The Conscious Leadership Program is built on the understanding that leadership isn't confined to titles or positions—it's a quality that resides in each of us. Through four half-day sessions spread throughout the year, participants engaged in experiential learning that fosters self-awareness, response-ability, and personal development.

Impact Through Experience: Voices from Our 2024 Pilot Program

The success of our 2024 pilot program is best illustrated through the experiences of our participants:

Bounce Samoa from our Fife Receiving team discovered the power of mindfulness and interconnectedness. "Make quiet time to clear your mind, and when you ask with a sincere heart, the universe will reply," Bounce reflects. "The character we represent comes from the growth within our hearts."

For Alicia Paglinawan in Contractor Sales at HPM Waimea, the program offered a profound perspective shift. "The biggest takeaway is that the sky is always blue. The clouds (problems) will come and go, but the sky (happiness) is always there," she shares. This insight has been transformative in her personal wellness journey.

Roman Tencza from our Hilo Purchasing department found value in the program's practical approach to mental well-being. "Meditation allows me to sort through experiences and make sense of them—like self-guided therapy," Roman notes. "When you meditate regularly, you can identify that things are neither good nor bad; they're just happening, and it's freeing to simply 'just do it.'"
