Pro Contractors, Sign up with FEMA

As the recovery effort on Maui continues, new federal contract opportunities are available from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for local companies to do business with FEMA. These opportunities could allow your business to work directly and impact those affected by the recent wildfires.

Register with the System for Award Management (SAM).

What is SAM?

The System for Award Management (SAM) is combining federal procurement systems and the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance into one system. Official Federal Government registration is processed via SAM.

For any questions regarding the SAM registration process, please contact the SAM Service Desk at 1-866-606-8220.

Submission of the Industry Liaison Program Vendor Profile (ILP) form.

Click here to download the ILP form and email the completed form to fema-industry@fema.dhs.gov.

The vendor profile form can serve as supplemental market research for the agency. Any information that you share should not be proprietary or sensitive in nature. Please be specific about how your products and/or service can support FEMA’s mission.

Please Be Aware of Scams:

  • FEMA does not charge any company a basic registration fee. There are companies that replicate services of Federal Government entities and there are typically fees associated with their services. Most Federal Government services, if not all, are free of charge. Always make it a practice to reach out to the appropriate Federal agency first to inquire about the validity of the service, specifically if a fee is associated with it.

Monitor the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) site. This free web-based portal allows vendors to review Federal Procurement Opportunities over $25,000.
